Jennifer Lin Brett Browning Detecting Opponent Roles in a Robot Soccer Domain

Robot soccer provides a good domain for role-based opponent modeling because roles are well-defined and integral to the play system of the opponent. Specifically, I will detect roles and role transitions in the adversary team. This information can be used in other formation detection domains. Role detection is achieved with a combination of hand-coded rules, hidden markov models, and decision trees.
